My Family

No discussion of me would be complete without introducing my sweet family. I have been married to my wonderful wife Jen for almost 7 years and I am the father of three beautiful children. Jen and I met at the University of Utah in the communication program while working toward our Bachelor's Degrees. She thought I was a nerd and I thought she was a bit snobbish, and so... our relationship began!

My children are a big part of my life. My oldest son Carson, like his mother, is an entertainer at heart. He loves to sing, dance, and tell stories and jokes. My daughter Maylee (an Americanized version of the Chinese word "Mei Li" which means beautiful) is a sassy little artist with a unique style and personality. My youngest, Zander, is a calm and happy toddler who is walking and causing all sorts of mischief.

Hobbies & Interests

  • Programming: I enjoy programming (preferably web programming with PHP). I recently began developing an Android app for my son Carson to help him learn to read.
  • Being Outdoors: My family and I enjoy hiking, walking, playing tennis (though we aren't very good), and other activities.
  • Performing: While my wife and children are avid performers, I am a closet performer. At the end of each year, I help my wife to develop a family Christmas music video for our families. In 2012, our theme was Gangnam Style, which we turned into "Wall Family Christmas Style"
  • Hanging Out: My family and I enjoy time together relaxing at home. We watch movies, play games, and just sit and talk.
