I am currently working as an Assistant Professor at Michigan Technological University. I work to produce quality research through collaboration with researchers within and without the IS community. Recent publications can be found in the Journal of the Association for Information Systems and Communications of the Association for Information Systems. I strive to provide high quality learning experiences for students, including project-based learning activities with organizational leaders. My teachings evaluations are consistently strong across instutions. I also believe strongly in service to my school, university, and research community.

Recent Updates

Our accepted paper at Internet Research was published this month. The paper provides a theoretical model to explain withdrawal of core contributors from online communities of practice.

Our accepted paper at the Data Base for Advances in Information Systems was published this month. The paper introduces theoretical archtetypes to explain differences in employees' security behaviors.

I was announced as a finalist for Michigan Tech's university wide teaching award (The Distinguished Teaching Award) for the second consecutive year.
